The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of a chieftain of the party, Barrister Olusegun Bamgbose, Esq.
Before he passed on in the wee hours of Friday 17th September, 2021 after a brief illness; Bamgbose was a vibrant member of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) with a promising political future as well as the National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, (CAGG) and the Principal Head, God’s Own Chambers, a legal team based in Aba, Abia State.
Bamigbose had indicated his interests to contest in the 2023 presidential election under the platform of the NNPP.
He has been an advocate of good governance and a human rights activist. Through his advocacy he was instrumental to the relaxation of many unpopular policies by the government. The vacuum his demise has created will be difficult to quickly fill up.
The NNPP prays that God grants all members the party and his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grant his gentle soul rest in the bosom of our God.
